Who operates Lock in Mate

Lock in Mate is operated by Valiant Partners (ABN 53 997 043 746). Contact oleksiy@valiantpartners.com for support, cancellation requests, refunds or payment disputes. A business address must be published before launch.

Your commitment

Lock in Mate lets you choose one commitment, a deadline time, a range of 1–365 calendar days starting today, every day or specific active dates within that range, and an amount between A$5 and A$500 per missed day. You report completion on each active date using the same private link. That day’s completion must reach our server before its deadline; future days cannot be completed early.

Your authorisation

When you check the authorisation and select “Lock in”, you authorise Stripe to save your card for this commitment and Lock in Mate to request one payment of the displayed daily amount for each selected active day whose completion is not recorded before its deadline. Each charge is initiated at or after that day’s deadline. The maximum total is the daily amount multiplied by the number of active days, shown before you lock. Unselected dates require no check-in and carry no charge. A missed day does not cancel later active days. The payment can be initiated while you are offline; your bank may still require authentication. The schedule ends after the chosen number of days and does not renew. No commitment payment is taken when you lock it. A locked commitment cannot be edited or cancelled through this prototype. That technical restriction does not exclude any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law, including applicable cancellation rights and rights concerning refunds and incorrect or unauthorised charges.

Planned charity policy

Valiant Partners intends to send 100% of missed-commitment payments to a charity chosen by the user from a list shown before locking. Proof of the donation will be emailed to the paying user within 72 hours of Valiant Partners receiving the missed-commitment payment. The charity selector, transfers and proof emails are not yet available, and this test environment moves no real money. The charity list, processing-fee coverage, transfer arrangements and refund treatment must be finalised before accepting real payments.

Testing only

This build accepts Stripe test cards only. Test payments do not move real money. Do not enter a real card. Your private link is the key to your commitment; keep it private.

Before a public launch

The operator must replace these placeholders with reviewed terms, business and contact details, payment and refund policies, and an explanation of where collected funds go.
