Who handles your information

Valiant Partners (ABN 53 997 043 746) operates Lock in Mate. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, email oleksiy@valiantpartners.com. Requests are subject to applicable law and any required retention. This notice is for the private prototype, not a completed Australia/UK launch policy.

What is saved

Lock in Mate stores your name, email, commitment, daily deadlines, duration, daily completion and payment records, timezone, amount at risk, payment reference IDs, consent record, and commitment status in Supabase. A hash of your private link token is stored; the plain token is not.

Where card details are saved

Card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC are entered into Stripe’s hosted payment fields and sent directly to Stripe. Stripe saves the card as a payment method associated with a customer record in the operator’s Stripe account. Lock in Mate’s application server and Supabase database do not receive or store the full card number or CVV/CVC. Stripe does not retain the CVV/CVC after authorisation.

Lock in Mate stores Stripe customer, setup, payment-method and payment reference IDs in Supabase, alongside your commitment and consent record. It uses those IDs to request the authorised payment. Stripe also receives your name, email and an internal commitment reference; it may collect billing information needed to process your card.

Overseas processing and Stripe retention

Stripe’s Privacy Policy describes its retention and international processing, including transfers to the United States and India. We do not promise that card data remains in Australia or the UK. Completing a commitment does not automatically delete the saved payment method from Stripe; this prototype has no automatic card-deletion schedule.

Email and hosting

Resend sends your commitment and payment notifications, including the private link. Vercel hosts the app. Those services process the data needed to provide these functions. Keep your private link secure and avoid sensitive information in commitment text.

Retention and requests

Records are retained for the private test and payment audit. Contact oleksiy@valiantpartners.com for questions or a data request. Final retention periods, business contact details, and applicable privacy rights must be documented before public launch.
